Adventure near Dead Horse Pass

-- Page 2--

Here's the crew except Brock who is running the camera.
From left to right it's Ken, me, Kent and Jason, and of course their dog which followed us everywhere.

What a view this is looking south down the upper Rock Creek drainage.
Ken is testing his cell phone. It actually worked for him here but I
had to hike further up the mountain before my phone had bars.

These mountains are rugged and constantly changing. While hiking the ridge above Continent Lake I found a large crevasse.
It was about 6 foot wide and 12 foot deep. It appeared as though the ridge-top was splitting apart.
I walked a little more gingerly here.

What a fantastic view from the top above Continent Lake.
This picture was taken looking west toward Boot Lake
and the picture below is looking east at Explorer Peak.

You know you're way up there when the mountain goats are below you.

Looking north from the top one can see the Bear River drainage and the Blacksfork drainage.
We didn't find the treasure we were looking for but did find some color in every pan of dirt we panned.
Also I stumbled upon a rock which appeared to have a smearing of silver on it.

These beautiful mountains will always take my breath away.

Thanks Brock, Kent, Jason and Ken for the incredible experience.
